I am a freelance writer with an interest in strange tales, eccentric characters, modern folklore, and local history. My intention is always to find the human side in what might seem to be sensational stories.

I have a long-running project about the Megatron flying saucer restaurant, formerly at Alconbury. My research began in 2021 and we are now filming a feature-length documentary called The Man Who Built a Flying Saucer. Follow our progress by searching for ‘Megatron Memories’ on Facebook or Twitter.

I am also proud of the work I have done with Refugee Support Europe since 2016, for whom I now act as an Ambassador. In addition to my volunteering trips, I write articles for their website and produce videos for social media and events.
